Happy autumn equinox day!

Well I thinks it's pretty obvious that I have slacked off with this blog a bit!? My beads and beading supplies had taken over the media room so I had to collect everything and move it back into the craft room. What happens is I fill a tray with what I need for a project and then another tray and so on until the next thing I know the coffee table is covered with beads, findings and bead books!
Tomorrow I am having a class here at home. For only twenty dollars I am supplying the glass beads, a sterling silver clasp or toggle and the instructions to make a bracelet. It's a fun way to meet new friends and get them addicted to beading! =D

Mid week post

Hello and good morning! I had a little set back last weekend, my camera battery was dead. It doesn't seem to hold a good charge like it used too? I have been working on a new pattern for a bracelet and I am still in the learning mode. The first bracelet has great colors but it turned out to only be 7 inches long. The second bracelet I used 4mm druks and it turned out to be a whopping 9 inches long. I don't like my color combo for the second one so I will rip that one out and start a new.

Finally Friday

Aaaaaah! yes. I finished a new design for a bracelet this week. Now I am sewing another necklace. It is the same pattern as the gold one but I am using black miyuki's. I will be spending my weekend with family...

Good morning!

I only have the one picture of this beauty. And still it looks fuzzy. :o( It is made of 4mm round green avent gemstone, sparkling clear 4mm swarovski crystals , navy blue miyuki seed bead and a gold plated magnetic clasp. Oh and I can't forget the two 6mm light green swarovski crystals!

Gold neckware

Well here is the gold beaded necklace I've been talking about. I used over 4000 11/0 seed bead! I haven't sewed a clasp on yet because I'm looking for something special...a little something different in 14kt gold. So now I am working on a matching bracelet and that will have a clasp that matches the necklace. I will be posting this piece on my Etsy store this week. www.beadedtreats.etsy.com

Good morning!

I woke up very early this morning and so I will have a lot of time to work on the gold necklace. I worked on it last night until House and Mental came on. I had never watched Mental before...that was curious?
